how to check if a website is down!
So many of you try to visit my website or other travel websites and think you mis-typed a url while in fact it is down, this is usually a dns problem but can easily determined which it is by using the following site: http://tinyurl.com/44ultrg
basically it is a website that after you enter a url it tells you if the website is down for them too or is it just on your pc, if it is down for them there is not much you can do but if it isn't you can try changing your dns settings (I'll post a guide soon but for now Google it)

private jet charter
Tips for renting a chartering a private jet:
1. Always choose only the certified executive charters. You jet plane should be sanctioned and permitted in line with the standards of Federal Aviation Administration. You can check out any website for more information on their registration.
2. Make sure you review the safety measures linked to your private jet charter. You can gain this information by going through the safety reports demonstrated at the organization's website. These reports consist of possible accidents and security measures adopted by the organization. Make sure that the jet charter utilized by you is free from all the dangers.
3. You have to think about the type of amenities offered by the jet. It includes food offered, entertainment facilities offered as well as luggage security. Various firms also have particular rules and regulations associated with the carrying of luggage. Ensure that you follow them.
4. Before choosing a specific private jet charter, ensure that you evaluate the price tags of at least 3 to 4 planes. There are multiple price quotes published on the official organization's site.
5. Finally, get in touch with the travel company and negotiate costs. You may search for unique offers and reductions. Usually, the firms give discount on the number of travelers, flight schedules or holiday packages to a specific country. In case you book your flight earlier, you will get additional discounts.

tips for car insurance when travelling to other countries?
Shopping for your car insurance online can be a great way to save time and money. However, if you decide to start the process by visiting a search engine take the time to enter your search query correctly. seeing as many countries probably won't speak your native language so it is very important
that you learn the language before you try to buy anything. Second consider taking the bus a few time first seeing as how it can be hard to adjust to the countries driving system.

Is car rental a good Idea?
Many people who travel are not content with having to take public transit around during their trips. So the big question in this case is should I rent a car? If you are in in north america during your visit then definitely, car insurance is cheap or even free and usually at a standard rate so whoever you are you get the same price as everyone else. If though you are traveling within Europe then your millage may vary (no pun intended) The big tourist places ie UK are a great place to drive since roads are meant for car but in smaller countries then probably the answer is no because traffic might be hectic and roads may be smaller than you are used to. If that is the case then you might want to consider motor scooters since these are cheap to run and the insurance cost is next to nothing

Travel insurance, is it worth it?
Anything can happen is a popular saying when it comes to travel, hopefully the only things that happen are good ones. Sadly some people may get into some stick situations and this is where insurance comes in. Travel insurance is extremely useful if you travel often or far away and get injured, as long as you didn't intentionally put yourself at risk (ie wrestling a polar bear) then your travel insurance should pay for everything, also some countries (ie Cuba) won't let you in if they find out that you don't have some form of insurance incase of injury. If your someone who often gets hurt then you should probably get insurance. If your a healthy person under 60, I've seen rates as low as 6% of your vacation price. If though on the other hand you've never hurt yourself and you plan to play it safe then you might not need it though it is still recommended.

What if my ride is overbooked?
One of the worst things that can happen to you while you travel is your flight/bus/train is overbooked. The reason companies do that is someone always doesn't show up, so to make more money they sell more tickets than they actually can this very common everywhere even in the internet business, so if your travelling by a budget company you may not be compensated which sucks, a tip to avoid this is to check in as early as possible (note online check in is a good idea) Though luckily not all budget companies overbook (ie Ryanair) usually what will happen is most companies that overbook will have multiple trips leaving on the same day to that destination that you were supposed to be going, and if there is only one trip that day most likely it is a less popular route and there isn't a very big chance you will get bumped. So basically you should not fear this too much but still try to come early and if you voluntarily give up your seat a lot of companies will give you compensation (money)
